Inherit Hotel Group’s first venture, The Guesthouse Hotel in Chicago, was born from a building initially meant to be luxury condominiums and converted to a boutique hotel during the country’s economic downturn in 2008. One-, two- and three- bedroom accommodations drew mass appeal and showcased that Inherit Hotel Group was able to provide more than just a room to guests, but a home-away-from-home experience. The vision behind the group is to showcase suite-based hotels situated in vibrant neighborhoods where locals hang out, featuring rooms that are both luxurious and functional. The team consists of David Krug overseeing development, construction, and expansion. Simona Krug managing design and customer experience, Martin Quander handling revenue management and marketing and Dan Cauley overseeing operations, accounting, and finance.
